3 Parramatta Square
Future Workplace

3 Parramatta Square defines the northern edge of the Parramatta Square precinct. Active frontages to all edges draw the vibrant public realm within the building to energise a diverse workplace accommodating some of Australia’s leading businesses and employers. This brings the energy of the surrounding city directly into the building, enhancing the experience for both workers and visitors.
At the heart of the competition-winning design concept is a 13m wide 17-storey atrium linking all floors from the ground to the glazed roof and flooding the large floor plates with natural light. A series of bridges, interconnecting stairs and glass lifts animate this dynamic space and visually and physically connect people across the workplace. This dynamic arrangement not only enhances visual interest but also encourages spontaneous encounters and collaboration among occupants, transforming the workplace into a vibrant, interconnected community.

A series of stacked and shifting building volumes form a dynamic silhouette in the city skyline and create terraces that enhance workplace well-being and amenity through increasing the diversity of workplace settings and connecting people to environment and place. By thoughtfully connecting people to their surroundings and the broader environment, the design promotes a sense of place and community, enriching the everyday experience for occupants and visitors.
Sustainable design is embedded in the concept and realised in the detail – 3 Parramatta Square is rated 6 Star Green Star Design and As-Built, as well as 5.5 Star NABERS Energy, Water and Indoor Environment. These accolades reflect a commitment to environmental responsibility and the creation of a healthy, efficient, and sustainable built environment.
