Mathew Howard

Mathew is a Director at JPW and is a Registered Architect in NSW and SA.

Mathew’s expertise in urban design, strategic planning, architectural design, and construction has been developed through key roles at JPW over the past two decades, including the delivery of numerous award-winning projects in Australia and New Zealand.

Mathew brings a highly skilled and collaborative approach to architectural practice, stakeholder engagement and the delivery of design excellence, having led several of JPW’s city making projects, including 5 Martin Place, Sydney, Auckland’s Britomart Precinct, and all development stages of Parramatta Square – a $2 billion city making project of critical importance to the strategic vision for Greater Metropolitan Sydney.

All Mathew’s projects have received industry awards across multiple fields, including urban design, architecture, engineering, heritage, sustainability, construction and development.

Currently, Mathew is leading JPW’s projects in Canberra City, Blacktown, and Adelaide, and maintains strong engagement within a range of disciplines across design, property and construction sectors.
