Kiong is highly regarded for his creative and collaborative approach to design and problem solving. Many of his projects involve designing for multiplicity of scales and diversity of uses.
He has led several award winning JPW projects including the Australian War Memorial’s Eastern Precinct – winner of the Sir Zelman Cowen Award, Romaldo Giurgola Award, Sir John Overall Award and the Canberra Medallion.
Kiong serves on the National Capital Design Review Panel and City of Sydney Design Excellence juries. He was the Jury Chair for the 2015 NSW Architecture Awards.
