Construction Commenced at Glebe Mid-Rise

Construction has commenced at JPW’s Glebe Mid-Rise project. The new eight-storey social housing renewal project at Cowper Street is inspired by historic woolstore buildings and Glebe’s iconic Victorian terraces. The development will create 75 new inner-city dwellings – three studios, 40 one-bedroom and 27 two-bedroom apartments, along with five three-bedroom terrace homes for larger families.
The development will be called The Prince’s Quarter, to reflect the development partnership of the Prince’s Trust Australia with NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC).
Prince’s Trust Australia Chair, the Hon Julie Bishop, noted “This development will use many sustainable building practices such as recycled bricks, solar panels to power the homes and structural timber framing.”

JPW acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country and honours their continuing connection to lands, waters, skies and communities.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging – as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work; and the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation on whose land our Studio is located.
