Chau Chak Wing Museum wins highest honour at ACI Awards

JPW’s Chau Chak Wing Museum received the highest honour – the “Overall Excellence” award – at the American Concrete Institute Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards at the ACI Concrete Convention on October 24, 2022.
The Museum also received first place in the mid-rise structures category. The ACI awards honour the visions of the most creative projects in the concrete industry and recognize concrete innovation, technology, and excellence across the globe.
“What makes this project particularly noteworthy is its commitment to sustainability and its focus on constructability. All this while meeting the demanding architectural vision. This project represents a model for concrete design and construction that we should all strive to achieve.” – Overall Excellence judge Emily Guglielmo.

JPW acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country and honours their continuing connection to lands, waters, skies and communities.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging – as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work; and the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation on whose land our Studio is located.
