The Anzac Memorial Centenary Extension is the recipient of the Australian Institute of Architects Sir Zelman Cowen National Award For Public Architecture

The Anzac Memorial Centenary Extension is the recipient of the Australian Institute of Architects Sir Zelman Cowen National Award For Public Architecture and the Sulman Medal for Public Architecture and an Award for Urban Design, 2020. These awards recognise the vision of the Trustees of the Anzac Memorial, and the many stakeholders, consultants, contractors and members of the public that played a part in realising the project’s diverse outcomes. JPW acknowledges the collaboration with Fiona Hall and the Government Architect NSW as central to the project’s commitment to excellence.

JPW acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country and honours their continuing connection to lands, waters, skies and communities.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging – as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work; and the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation on whose land our Studio is located.
