A Guided Tour of 1 Elizabeth, Macquarie Group’s Innovative Headquarters

JPW Director Matthew Morel and Principal Matteo Salval led a tour of 1 Elizabeth – the newly completed Macquarie Group headquarters. 1 Elizabeth is integrated with both the Sydney Metro Martin Place Station below and the heritage 50 Martin Place building, creating an expansive campus.

Attendees had a unique opportunity to see a future-focussed workplace close-up and enjoy great views over the city and the harbour beyond. The presentation explored the project’s journey from inception to delivery including the reinstatement of heritage artworks and new public art commissions.

We thank Macquarie for welcoming the group and the Australian Institute of Architects, as well as the attendees for their engaging interaction throughout the event.
