The Mark Central Park

Sydney, Australia
Completed 2015
Frasers Property Australia and Sekisui House

As the second residential stage within the landmark Central Park precinct in Sydney’s Chippendale, The Mark together with Park Lane 5A and 5B form a cluster of three residential buildings arranged and carefully designed to create a fine grained network of quality neighbourhood space in the form of active laneways, a community square, pocket parks and the new large city parkland, that link into the adjacent communities of Chippendale and beyond to Broadway, UTS and the transport hub of Central.

It works extremely well, from the macro to the micro levels; from the building massing, to the public domain of the gritty urban laneway with its cobblestones and engaging open, external fire stairs and through to the efficient high-quality interior design of the apartments.
